The Super Haters hiatus is over and I'm proud to return the webcomic to its Monday-Friday posting schedule with this awesome first installment of Scott Hedlund Guest Week!
Some of you may already know Scott Hedlund from the numerous teases I've posted over the past couple of months. His comics include Chaos Punks, Weirdlings, Fairhaven, and more.
As with most Super Haters Guest Weeks, this short story is a thorough collaboration. The concept of this five-page tale is all Scott's idea, something he dreamed up after the two of us bounced some concepts back and forth. I ran with the idea and fleshed it out into a five-page script that Scott penciled, inked, and colored. Then I lettered Scott's killer art and here we are!
Scott and I are going to be recording a Destruct-O-Cast podcast tonight (which will be posted this Friday) about the production of our story, including behind-the-scenes dirt and tons more. If you have any questions for us, leave 'em in the comments!

HA! I never would have figured the Lord Humungous look for D-Tron's mask.
@Andrew: I've never heard of that guy until I Googled him just now... and I SOOOO hope that he's the inspiration for Scott's version of the Destruct-O-Tron mask!!
Nice work guys!
THX!!!!
This sucks.
I like how each guest artist has a unique and different interpretation of D-Tron's suit.
Agreed! And Scotty's has definitely been the most lo-fi so far. I dig it!!!
