Ummmmmm... where did Destruct-O-Tron and Mind's Eye go??
Yesterday was moving day for me. I threw out tons of stuff and put a bunch of other stuff in storage. Justique and I packed up six suitcases and now we're in the Pittburgh airport.
But last night was a fantastic PGH farewell. I hit up my favorite comic shop -- the incredible Phantom of the Attic Comics in Oakland -- and said goodbye to Geoff, Wayne, Scott Hedlund, and more. Dave Wachter was there too and gave me this awesome drawing that totally warmed my heart. Thx, Dave!!
Then I went to a comics reading at the Cyberpunk Apocalypse house featuring Brian John Mitchell, Andy Scott, Nate McDonough, Steph Neary, and Nils Skeletonballs. It was amazing!!
Oh and while I was running around last night I finally remembered that thing I've been wanting to tell you... TOMORROW IS THE FINAL DAILY SUPER HATERS WEBCOMIC. That's right, the current daily cut-and-paste era of Super Haters is ending. Frankly, I've had enough of the daily grind and I want to work on different projects!!
But this isn't the end of the Super Haters. In fact, this webcomic is still very healthy and will continue well into the future along with a host of incredible guest artists. I'm currently working on collaborations with some amazing creators. I've got three short scripts in production as we speak, with four more waiting in the wings.
However -- because these artists are busy people -- the webcomic won't be daily. In fact, it won't be on any kind of regular schedule! So make sure to keep a watch on @super_haters for updates about new comics starring Mind'S Eye and Destruct-O-Tron.
