After her
rejection from Destruct-O-Tron, Sarah Nancy Hatcher
spent the night with Mind's Eye.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Where in the fuck have Mind's Eye and Destruct-O-Tron gone?!?? That's the mystery Justique and I will set out to solve in
Snatched!, the final Super Haters story arc that begins on Monday with a short video / trailer that picks up right where today's comic strip has left off.
In other news, I published a
short blog post today about my work on some comics for a web development textbook called
CoffeeScript in Action. Here's one of them:
That's it for today! I'll see you back here on Monday for the
Snatched! trailer, which will definitely up the ante for the final story arc and hopefully give you a few laughs.
Destruct-O-Tron had an
awkward encounter with Sarah Nancy Hatcher that's left him down in the dumps.
HEY-OH! I think that's our first cut-and-paste nudity
ever in Super Haters.
But let's not get caught up in too much
cartoon boobs excitement, okay?!? We're telling an important story here, one that's just starting to kick into high gear! In fact, tomorrow is the conclusion of this cut-and-paste story arc. But it's only the mid-point of the epic story that Justique and I have crafted for you. And I promise you... the weirdness is only beginning!
In other news, remember
last week when
Rob Powell did a Destruct-O-Tron impression and ended up in the hospital with appendicitis? Well I'm glad to say that he's doing great now! And speaking of Rob, his partner --
Kaylie McDougal -- sent me a special Super Haters gift yesterday. It's got a giant bow on top and I plan to unwrap it for you on our final day of comics, June 25th.
But in the meantime, get your asses back here tomorrow for the crazy conclusion of Get Lost. It sets up our next twisted tale, so you don't wanna miss it!
Destruct-O-Tron is getting to know
Sarah Nancy Hatcher, his sponsor from Time Travel and Alternate Dimensions Anonymous.
Destruct-O-Tron? More like
Reject-O-Tron!
The
Get Lost saga continues tomorrow with our penultimate installment! See you then.
The Haters are
still dealing with their time travel fiasco, struggling to find ways to enjoy life in the present.
OH SARAH! You're such a tease.
Justique and I created
Sarah Nancy Hatcher on a plane ride to San Jose del Cabo, Mexico in May. See, last year I won a
Mexican vacation from a
sausage company contest on an r&b radio station website. No joke. And since Stique and I were forced to sit next to each other for two and a half hours, we managed to crank out about ten minutes of conversation that led to our new cut-and-paste character.
Anyway, the drama begins tomorrow when Destruct-O-Tron and Sarah spend a little alone time together. Don't miss it!
Mind's Eye and Destruct-O-Tron are having trouble adjusting to
life in the present.
Nothing to tell you today.
Be back tomorrow for a brand new character!
Mind's Eye and Destruct-O-Tron
returned from the future because they didn't enjoy the company they had to keep there.
Damn. There's just no pleasing these two.
Hmmmmmmm let's see what else is going on right now... I'm hard at work
(hehe) on the next Haters arc, which is gonna definitely surprise you. I also
posted this ridiculous email exchange I had with a 15-year-old rapper who randomly sent me some songs.
And I guess that's it for today. See you on Monday with more bitchy superhero webcomics!
This new story arc picks up right where the cut-and-paste comics left off in
Super Haters #454!
It's been a year and a half since the massive ongoing Super Haters cut-and-paste saga ended. And I was happy to leave it that way!
But Justique and I whipped up a really ambitious idea for our final
(not cut-and-paste) story arc. And that idea left the option open for us to create one final in-continuity cut-and-paste story arc that would lead directly into our Super Haters swan song.
Get Lost is only the first half of a 15-part multimedia storytelling experience that will take us right through to Super Haters #500 on June 25th. I hope you enjoy the weird and wild ride :D
I'm so excited to tell you more about what Justique and I have planned for you, but I think it would probably be better to
show you rather than
tell you. So I'll be back tomorrow to show you some more!
I said I wouldn't do this but...
I'm doing it, goddamn it!!! The old school cut-and-paste Super Haters webcomics are returning for one final hurrah in a story arc called
Get Lost:
Beginning tomorrow, Mind's Eye and Destruct-O-Tron return to their original look in a seven-part story featuring a brand new character and a lot of zany moments like this
*:
Returning with the classic cut-and-paste style is Justique Woolridge, who co-wrote Get Lost with me. And following this cut-and-paste story arc, well, Stique and I have something
really special planned for you!
Be back here tomorrow for the start of our new tale that picks up right where the last cut-and-paste story
-- Quacked Up -- left off.
*Note: This moment never actually happens in Get Lost.
