So, yeah... we're back to three panels again. I was getting a little burned out on the six-panels-five-days-a-week thing. Don't get me wrong -- it's not a savage amount of work or anything. But I missed the slightly less rigorous three panel format, so I switched back for now.
Here's the thing about three panel strips, though -- they're harder to write. With the six panel stuff, you have more room for characters to extrapolate on a situation. With three, not only do you have to set up a joke in only two exchanges, but you have to make somebody feel like they're not wasting their time by only reading in three panel chunks. A deceptively difficult task!!
